Samantha Mohr

Mohr was Mohr was a UGA student who entered her first pageant following being recommended by a close friend. She won Miss Columbus 1985. The title made her eligible to participate in the Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. Mohr was awarded her title as Miss Georgia 1985 on Saturday 22 June 1985. The winner earned more than $3,500 in scholarships and other prizes at the state pageant. In her role as Miss Georgia the state, she made public appearances across Georgia. Georgia. Mohr represented Georgia at Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City (New Jersey) in September 1985. Mohr was a one-in-one chance in winning the Miss America title. Computer models proved reliable in predicting Susan Akin's victory. Mohr wasn't a Top-10 finalist for the crown of Miss America.
