Geena Davis
Geena can be described as an American actress, producer, and writer. She is also an advocate for women's issues. Beyond her numerous characters in Hollywood her work has earned praise for her work in tv's shows of all genres. Prior to her career in films, she worked as a designer for fashion and made it to the semi-finals of the Team of Women's Archery at Olympics. The passion she has for music from early childhood made her learn the flute and piano. The organist she played was in a Church in Wareham. She relocated from Wareham to New York City after graduating from Boston University with a degree in acting. She was required to put in a lot of effort and did various odd jobs before being offered a role to work in the field of acting. It was her first big break as a model prior to her first appearance in the film 'Tootsie' in the year 1982. She also appeared in several Television series and had a very successful acting career as well as winning the Oscar Award for her movie "The Accidental Tourist.". The Golden Globe Award was awarded to her as well for her performance in an American TV drama. There are two sons as well as one daughter who is from her wedding to Reza Jarrahy. She is also active with many issues of the social sphere.
